Job Description :
1.Successful candidates will be part of a team responsible for carrying out molecular characterization work, primarily Southern Analysis, ELISAs and qPCR analysis, in multiple crop species.
2.Candidates with experience in Plant molecular biology background with 1-5 years of laboratory/industry experience will be preferred.
3.Strong molecular biology skills including familiarity with plant genomic DNA isolation techniques, restriction digestion of DNA, primer design, PCR, Southern Blot, plant protein isolation and purification techniques, SDS-PAGE analysis, ELISAs, Western Blot will be preferred.
4.Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and excellent bench skills in their area of expertise.
5.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
6.Ability and having the motivation to learn new techniques.
7.Excellent organizational and inter-personal skills
