Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in DST project on “Structural and functional analysis of the ERG oncoprotein: potential target to develop prostate cancer drug” at School of Life Sciences, Jawarharlal Nehru University.
Qualifications: M.Sc in any branch of biological science with prior experience in structure and functional analysis of proteins.
Desirable: Proficiency in Gene cloning, Mutagensis, Protein expression in E. coli & Yeast system, protein refolding & purification, Crystallization & X-ray structure analysis, Modeling & Dynamics simulation work.
Fellowship: As per DST norms.
Tenure: The position is purely temporary, renewable every six months, and may continue until early 2013 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.
