Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant/Research Fellow project:

Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant - 2 Posts (Centre for Environmental Science and Technology) – Project Duration 3 Years

• Bioherbicidal Potential of immobilized (encapsulated/entrapped) formulations of essential oil from leaves of plant C. viminalis under Dr. Sunil Mittal
• Synthesis and evaluation of calixarene capped quantum dots for sensing of organic analytes under Dr. J.N. Babu

Research Fellow - 1 Post (Centre for Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science) - Project Duration 3 Years

• Design synthesis and biological screening of novel multi-target inhibitors of Tyrosine Kinase(s) and Topoisomerase-I under Dr. Raj Kumar

Qualification:

• Centre for Environmental Science and Technology M.Sc./M.Phil. in Environment Science/Chemistry/Natural Product/ Chemistry, Biochemistry/ Biotechnology /Botany with minimum 55 % marks and/or NET/Gate qualified. 
• Centre for Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science M.Pharm./M.S. (Pharm.). in Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry with minimum 55 % marks and GPAT/GATE qualified. 

Emoluments

JRF/Project Assistant/Research Fellow Rs.16,000/- Per Month.(fixed) + HRA 

Tenure For One year, which will be extendable for another one year based on annual satisfactory progress. 

Last Date of receipt of application: 20th October 2012
 

The application duly filled in the prescribed form along with supporting enclosures must reach the office of the Registrar on or before 20th October 2012 up to 5:00 p.m. at the address given below. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of ………..”.
