Postdoctoral Research Scientist
Salary range £29,557 – £31,527 per annum
The Babraham Institute is a charity which is world renowned for its research in life sciences to enhance lives and improve wellbeing.
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join a project funded by Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. The project is a collaborative effort between the groups of Dr Martin Turner (The Babraham Institute) and Professor Anne Willis (MRC Toxicology Unit, Leicester) and will build on recent key findings from the Willis group (See Leukemia. 2014 (5):1092-102) . The successful candidate will investigate the role of RNA binding proteins in Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma. In particular we seek an individual with experience in mouse genetics and models of B cell lymphoma. The successful applicant will have a PhD in Immunology or Genetics and preferably a strong background in Molecular Biology. This is a limited term contract with funding available for up to 36 months.
