Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in DBT sponsored project entitled "Isolation and functional characterization of genes from necrotrophic chickpea-blight fungus Ascochyta rabiei which involved in pathogenesis during compatible interactions".

Junior Research Fellow (one post): Emoluments as per project sanction.

Candidate having M.Sc. degree with 55% marks/NET qualified, in any discipline of Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology and any other related field) are eligible for apply. The candidate having research experience at M.Sc. level in Molecular Biology, Genomics and Bioinformatics is highly desirable.

The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR may select candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee. Reservation of post shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
