DBT funded project entitled “Designing novel nematode management technology through functional genomics of ESTs of  Meloidogyne incognita (root knot nematode) using RNAi for identifying parasite gene targets” invites applications for filling positions of two JRFs with net emoluments of Rs 12,000+30% HRA (or as applicable) through a walk in interview on 15th July 2011 at 11.00A.M.   

Essential  Qualifications: M. Sc. in Nematology / Botany / Zoology / Plant Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology / Biotechnology  /Any other subject equivalent to above said degrees  

Desirable qualifications: Working research experience in general molecular biology and tissue culture techniques.

Age limit: 35 Years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ and women candidates as per Government rules)

The above positions are purely temporary and will be made for a period of  six months or till termination of the project or whichever is less. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this institute as the positions are co-terminus with respective Project.
