Job description/Experience:  Candidates should have experience in various platforms for expression of antibody, basic molecular biology and purification of recombinant antibodies.

Emoluments: The Selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per instituteÂ’s rules.

Research Associate ₹  22,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA or ₹  21,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA if thesis has been submitted.

1. The posts exist in sponsored projects and are purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation against any core posts of the Institute.

2. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.

WALK IN INTERVIEW

One post of Research Assistant on a consolidated salary of Rs. 22,120/- p.m. is to be filled up on a temporary, contractual basis, co-terminus with the duration of a National Institutes of Health-funded project Center for the Study of Complex Malaria in India. The qualifications, experience and other details are given below:

Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with specialization in genetics/molecular biology/genomics and/or malaria will be preferred.

Desirable: Field experience in malaria, Good computer skills and experience with using MS Office.

Age: Up to 30 years

General

Age Limit: Age relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. rules/orders and up to five years for general category candidates in deserving cases for possessing experience in Govt./Autonomous Bodies.

 Place of duty: The incumbent will be posted at the project site at the above mentioned address.

Duration: The incumbent would be engaged initially for one year but the period of engagement may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority. Walk-in-Interview for Research Associate Postion @ IVRI, Izatnagar

Applications in the given proforma are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Research Associate in a research project entitled “Rumen microbial diversity in domesticated and wild ruminants and impact of additives on methanogenesis and utilization of poor quality fibrous feeds” under NAIP project funded by ICAR, New Delhi. 

This recruitment is subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR for such appointments. There is no provision of absorption/re-employment in IVRI/ICAR after termination of the project. The service of the person so engaged will automatically stand terminated with completion of the project. The appointment is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at anytime without assigning any reasons thereof.
