The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, and New Delhi intends to recruit Research Associate and Field Assistant/Technician in the following projects purely on contractual basis:
Project: DBT funded - Centre of Excellence for high-throughput allele determination for molecular breeding.
PI - Dr. Shailesh Tripathi

Emoluments (Fixed) PM: Rs. 24000/- plus HRA as admissible
Qualification: Essential: Ph.D. in Genetics/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding with minimum 1 year experience after Ph.D.
Desirable: NET qualified Publications in the field of molecular breeding and experience in handling softwares like Genstat.
Age limit: Maximum age 40 years for RA and 30 years for Field Assistant/Technician/Skilled worker (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
The interview of eligible candidates for post of RA will be held on 06/08/2011 (Saturday) at 10.00 A.M. and for Field Assistant/Technician/Skilled worker on 09/08/2011 (Tuesday) at 10 A.M. in the chamber of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to March 2012, but may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
The candidates will have to bring a 3 copies of bio-data (signed), original certificates, and attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. For Field Assistant/Technician/Skilled worker matric pass certificate and experience certificate from Government/private agency is essential to be produced for verification.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
