ICMR Increases JRF/SRF/RA Fellowship

In continuation of the Council's order issued vide letter no. 16/71/2007 dated 24/3/2008 on the above mentioned subject, the revised rates of emoluments of the JRF/SRF and Research Associate under ICMR Fellowship Programme & Extramural Research Projects/Schemes funded by ICMR will be as under with effect from 1.4.2010:-

(A) JRF

      (i) 1st and 2nd Year-  Rs. 16,000/- p.m.

      (ii) Subsequent Years- Rs. 18,000/- p.m.

(B) SRF (Non-Medical)

      (i) 1st and 2nd Year-  Rs. 18,000/- p.m.

      (ii) Subsequent Years- Rs. 20,000/- p.m.

SRF (Medical & Dental)

      (iii) 1st Year & thereafter- Rs. 20,000/- p.m.

(C) Research Associates

       Research Associates will received fixed emoluments as under:-

       (a) Rs. 23,000/- p.m.

       (b) Rs. 24,000/- p.m.
