Emoluments Qualification

Name of Project: Analysis of fruit Characteristics, expression profile of ripening genes and limited open field trials of tomato transgenics over expressing polyamine biosynthesis genes.

Project Investigator: Dr. R. K. Pal

Posts:

1.    SRF - One

Emolument: Rs.14,000/- + 30% HRA

Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany / Biochemistry / Food Science / Horticulture / Biotechnology

2.    Field Assistant- One

Emolument: Rs.6000/- (Consolidated)

Qualification: B.Sc.

Terms and conditions:

·         The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis till the termination of the project i.e. upto 04.09.2010. The selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment at this institute as the position is co-terminus with the project.

·         Age Limit: 35 years as on the closing date of application for SRF and 30 years for the Field Assistant and the relaxation shall be as per ICAR rules. 

·         Application with detailed bio-data containing the attested copies mark sheets and age proof should be sent to the office of the undersigned by post or by e-mail: head_pht@iari.res.in latest by 28/6/2010. Only the candidates fulfilling the essential qualification shall be interviewed.

·         The interview for the eligible candidates shall be held in the room of the Head, Division of PHT on 30/6/2010 at 10.30 a.m. and candidates should report the office of the undersigned for interview latest up to 11 a.m.

·         No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.

·         Candidates have to produce the original documents for verification before the interview.
