POSITIONS OPEN FOR TEMPORARY RESEARCH PROJECT POSTS

Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), desires to engage qualified incumbents on purely temporary basis as detailed below:

Post: Project Assistant (Level - I)

·         Qualification: First class B. Pharma/ B.Sc. in Life Sciences /Chemical Sciences/Information Technology

·         Age Limit: 28 Years

·         Salary: Rs. 7000/- per month consolidate

·         Tenure: One year

Post: Project Assistant (Level - II)

·         Essential Qualification: First class M. Pharma/ M.Sc. BE/B.Tech in Life Sciences /Chemical Sciences/Information Technology

·         Age Limit: 28 years

·         Stipend: Rs. 10000/- per month consolidate

·         Tenure: One year

Post: Project Assistant (Level - III)

·         Essential Qualification: MCA/M.Tech in Life Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Information Technology

·         Age Limit: 30 Years

·         Stipend: Rs. 12000/- per month consolidate

·         Tenure: 1 Year

Project Assistant (Level - II)

·         Essential Qualification: First class M.Sc. in Biotechnology

o    Desirable: Experience in using M. tuberculosis handling, culture and BSL3 facility

·         Age Limit: 28 Years

·         Salary: Rs. 10000/- per month consolidated

·         Tenure: 1 Year

Age relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC candidate as per Govt. of India instruction.

Engagement is for the project and on behalf of the funding agency and the tenure shall be as mentioned above. The duration of the post may be extendable up to project duration. Contract may be terminated any time by giving one-month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR/IGIB post.

·         The eligible applicant has to email their resume directly to the respective project leader by 28-07-10. No application would be entertained with "result awaited" status or after due date.

·         The email will be sent to the short listed candidates. The personal interview will held on 19-08-2010.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to attend the interview. The engagement shall be as per guidelines of CSIR/Funding agency. Candidates will have option to give reply in Hindi.
