Applications are invited for one post of a Junior Research Fellow in a CSIR-sponsored research project entitled “Evaluation of probiotic attributes of lactic acid bacteria based on bacteriocinogenic activity and in vitro adhesion properties”, at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis for one (01) year and may be extended based on performance.
Qualification and Experience:
M. Sc. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ related fields in Life Sciences, or B. E. / B. Tech. in Biotechnology. Candidates should have obtained 55% in qualifying degree examination. Candidates should be CSIR-UGC NET (JRF / LS) or GATE qualified. Applicants having hands-on experience in Molecular Biology/ Molecular Microbiology/ Cell culture techniques will be preferred.
Pay:
Rs.12,000 p.m. (consolidated). In addition HRA and Medical facilities as per Institute rules.
