A postdoctoral position is available at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (New York City) to study the systems-level dynamics of the vertebrate segmentation clock by using zebrafish as the model organism.
Interested candidates must have a PhD and have a strong record of accomplishment and experience in one of the two following areas:

1- Genetics, developmental biology and microscopy.
2- Mathematical modeling.

The project is a collaborative effort between the groups of Dr Martin Turner (The Babraham Institute) and Professor Anne Willis (MRC Toxicology Unit, Leicester) and will build on recent key findings from the Willis group (See Leukemia. 2014 (5):1092-102) . The successful candidate will investigate the role of RNA binding proteins in Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma. In particular we seek an individual with experience in mouse genetics and models of B cell lymphoma. The successful applicant will have a PhD in Immunology or Genetics and preferably a strong background in Molecular Biology. This is a limited term contract with funding available for up to 36 months. The South Asian University (SAU) was established in July 2010, by joint funding of the eight SAARC Member States (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).
