Applications are invited for a temporary position of ‘Junior Research Fellow’, being filled in through Walk-in-interview on 10.12.2010, as detailed below–
Junior Research Fellow (one position) under the DBT Project “Folded gastrulation : An insight into mechanisms regulating glial morphogenesis and axonal ensheathment in Drosophila” (SP-190, period up to 25.03.2013) operated in the Zoology Group of Animal Sciences Division.
Qualifications: Essential: 1st class M.Sc. in Zoology/Biotechnology, should have good knowledge of Molecular Biology, Genetic, CSIR-UGC/NET/LS preferred.
Desirable: Research experience in Molecular Biology/Drosophila Genetics preferred.[Code: JRF/SP/190]
Monthly Stipend : 12,000/-+20% HRA (Likely to be revised as per DBT Rules)
Age Limit : 28 Years (Relaxable as per rules)
Age limit is Relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST & Women candidates.
Initial appointment period will be one year. Further extension will be granted depending upon the status of the project & performance of the appointee.
