Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on 9th December, 2010 at 11.00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta (Ballygunge Campus), 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata: 700019 to work as a Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled “DBT-University of Calcutta, Centre of Life Sciences for advanced Research and Education” funded by DBT. Tenure of the project is up to Five years.
Qualification Required: M.Sc. Degree in any discipline of life sciences with valid GATE / NET / ICMR / DBT.
Upper age limit for joining is 28 years as on 31.12.2010 with 5 years relaxation for SC / ST /Female candidates. Fellowship will be according to Office Memorandum no A20020/11/97-IFD dated 31st March, 2010 issued by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Candidates are requested to bring two sets of complete applications furnishing Bio-data on plain paper attached with attested copy of testimonials and all the originals of the testimonials at the time of interview.
