Applications are invited for purely project based temporary positions under different R&D projects at North East Unit. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevantsubject/specialization with consistently good academic record and experience may apply.

Position: Junior Research Fellow (1), 12,000/pm + HRA

Qualification: Masters degree with 55 % in Life Science / Wildlife Biology / Zoology / Environmental Sciences 

Desirable: Experience of Research on avifauna and shifting agriculture.

Nature of duties/Project: In-House Project : “Shifting agriculture : Issues and options with focus on adaptive interventions to make it ecologically, economically and socially viable

Position: Junior Research Fellow (1), 12,000/pm + HRA

Qualification: Masters degree with 55 % in Life Science / Wildlife Biology / Zoology / Environmental Sciences  

Desirable: Experience on extention activities and working with communities. 

Nature of duties/Project: GOI-UNDP Project: “Biodiversity conservation through community based natural resource  management in Arunachal Pradesh”

Position: Senior Research Fellow (02), 14,000/pm + HRA 

Qualification: Masters degree with 60% in Life Science/Social Science/Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural  Science with 2 year Research Experience 

Desirable: Experience on extention activities and working with communities. 

Nature of duties/Project: GOI-UNDP Project: “Biodiversity conservation through community based natural resource management in Arunachal Pradesh”

Age Limit: JRF 28 years, SRF 32 years.  Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms.
