Application are invited from eligible candidates for one post of JRF in an ongoing project entitled “Mitochondial Dysfunction in response to HIV infection and antiretroviral Drug Treatment” funded by the DBT, Govt. of India under the guidance of Dr. Binay Chaubey, Dept. of Genetics, C.U. the post is temporary and conterminous of the project.
Qualification required : M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science with at least 55% of marks and NET qualified. NET(lecurership)/ GATE qualified candidates may also apply. Candidates having experience in relevant field of research work will be preferred.
Upper age limit : 28 yrs. as on 01.07.2011 (5 Yrs. reladation for SC / ST / Female / Physically handicapped candidates).
Fellowship @Rs.16,000/- in the slab of 16000-16000-18000+ admissible allowances as per sanction of the funding agency and also as per norms of C.U.
NET (LS) / GATE qualified candidates are eligible to get fellowship @ Rs.12000 in the slab of Rs.12000-12000-14000/
Candidates are requested to send two sets of complete application furnishing biodata on plain paper with attested copies of testimonials to Dr. B.Chaubey, Dept. of Genetis, C.U. 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700019 on or before 25.07.2011 August, 2011.

No TA is permissible for appear in the interview.
