Assistant Professorship in protein aggregating diseases

The University of Zurich is committed to further strengthening its research efforts in neurosciences, particularly in the field of movement disorders.

lt provides a stimulating and attractive environment for interdisciplinary research at the highest international level. Creative researchers with a track record and a strong research interest in the pathogenesis of protein aggregating diseases are encouraged to apply. We seek especially candidates with an interest in the basic molecular and cellular events such as protein aggregation, neurotoxicity, cellular transmission, or in the role of stem cells or immunological mechanisms for preventing or treating protein aggregating diseases and animal models of neurodegenerative disease.

This 6-year non-tenure track position is accompanied by an attractive startup package, including funding for coworkers, consumables and equipment.
