FUSCC, the first cancer hospital established in 1931 in China and now the only comprehensive cancer center in Shanghai, is undertaking a major expansion and seeking outstanding applicants for a number of faculty positions at all levels, including faculty positions of its Cancer Research Institute. We offer a highly collaborative and interactive research environment with a state-of-art research platform, tissue banking with various tumors, in vitro and in vivo imaging, and multi-disciplinary networking. Candidates with research interest in molecular cancer epidemiology, cancer signaling, mechanisms, microenvironment, cancer stem cells, system biology, translational research on molecular diagnosis and therapy are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be expected to develop strong, independent, and extramurally funded research programs, and to participate in graduate and medical student teaching. A highly competitive salary, start-up funds and new lab space will be provided. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or an equivalent degree, post-doctoral experience and clear evidence of research productivity and independence for junior faculty positions, and additional evidence of internationally-reputed research excellence for senior positions (full professor).
