WALK IN INTERVIEW

The following positions are to be filled up on purely temporary, co-terminus and on contractual basis with the projects mentioned below:

PROJECT TITLE: COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT OF MALARIA (MMV)
S.no 1: Research Assistant (One): Rs. 22,120/- p.m consolidated
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc Life/Allied Sciences with two years research/field experience in malaria. Desirable: Experience in Clinical Research / Vector Borne Diseases. Job Description: To help and to conduct technical, molecular experiments for studies etc. Age: upto 30 yrs.
S.no 2: Consultant (Accounts) (One): Rs. 20000/- p.m. consolidated
Retired Graduate personnel with 5 years working experience in administration /accounts at the level of Assistant / Section Officer, knowledge of computer application / Internet essential. Job Description: To manage administration & accounts of research projects and coordination & management etc. Age: upto 65 years

PROJECT TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE OF RAPID DIAGNOSTIC TESTS OF MALARIA
S.no 3: Laboratory Technician (One): Rs. 18360/-p.m consolidated
Essential Qualification: Bachelor degree in life science or Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 5 yrs Lab experience. Age: upto 30 yrs
S.no 4: Consultant (Scientific) (One): Rs. 56939/- p.m. consolidated
Essential Qualification: M.D or Ph.D in life science with 10 years experience in molecular biology/bio-chemistry and other laboratory techniques. If person with required qualification and experience are not available the same may be relaxed in deserving cases. Knowledge of computer application Age: upto 65 yrs

PROJECT TITLE: DATA COLLECTION PILOT STUDY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PARASIGHT P1 DEVICE
S.no 5: Laboratory Technician (One): Rs. 18360/-p.m consolidated
Essential Qualification: Bachelor degree in life science or Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 5 yrs Lab experience. Age: upto 30 yrs

PROJECT TITLE: EFFECTIVE AND SAFE TREATMENT FOR MALARIA IN PREGNANCY IN INDIA
S.no 6: Research Fellow (One): Rs. 15000/- p.m consolidated
Essential Qualifications: Post graduate in Life Science, experience in handling of clinical & biological data, handling modern equipments including HPLC. Knowledge of computer application Age: upto 28 yrs

PROJECT TITLE: PHARMACOVIGILANCE FOR ANTI-MALARIALS IN INDIA
S.no 7: Data Entry Operator (One): Rs. 16179/-p.m consolidated
Essential Qualification: Graduate with one year certificate /diploma in computer applications from recognized institution. Desirable: Scientific data handling and statistical data analysis Age: upto 28 years

PROJECT TITLE: MONITORING THE THERAPEUTIC EFFICACY OF ANTI-MALARIAL MEDICINES IN INDIA
S.no 8: Laboratory Attendant (One): Rs. 11581/- p.m. consolidated.
Essential Qualifications: Matriculation with one year of experience in laboratory/field work in molecular field Age: upto 28 yrs.

Age Limit: Age relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. rules/orders and also up to the same limit to general category candidates in deserving cases possessing experience of working in Government/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs etc.

Duration: The engagement in the above posts would be co-terminus with the project and the persons would be engaged initially for not more than one year but the period of their engagement may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority. Interested and eligible candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview together with their complete bio-data with one recent photograph and photocopies of the certificates/testimonials and the originals for verification before the Selection Committee on 21st February’2013 for Sl.No 1 & 6 at 10:00 a.m and for Sl.No 3, 4 & 5 at 2.00 p.m. On 22nd Feb’2013 for Sl.No 2 & 8 at 10:00 a.m and for Sl.No 7 at 2.00 p.m at National Institute of Malaria Research, Sec-8, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077. Registration of candidates for the posts will be closed after 30 minutes of the scheduled time. NOC is necessary in the case of persons serving in Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSUs. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
