Applications are invited for the following posts in MoEF funded “All India Coordinated research project on Reproductive Biology of Four Rare, endangered and Threatened (RET) Tree species of North East India particularly in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya” on plain paper with attested copies of certificates, mark sheets/testimonials.
Post: (i) JRF (Two)
Qualification: M.Sc., Botany/preference will be given to NET candidates
Desirable: Knowledge of plant Reproductive Biology/ experience of field work
Post: (ii) Field Attendant
Qualification: +2 pass/with field experience in the forests
Desirable: Knowledge of indigenous languages of Arunachal Pradesh and/or Meghalaya
Duration: 4 years
Stipend: As per MoEF norms
The application must reach the Principal Investigator, Prof. N. Venugopal, Department of Botany, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong-793 022, Meghalaya, within 15 days of the date of publication of the advertisement (Advt, Date 03.12.2010). TA & DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
