Applications are invited for following project-based temporary positions. The candidates fulfilling minimum qualifications and experience may appear for Walk-in-Interview on the date mentioned against each position at Kosi-Katarmal Campus of the Institute. The candidates who do not fulfill minimum qualifications and experience will not be considered for Walk-in-interview. Desirous candidates must send an advance copy of application and their bio-data to the Administrative Officer and should bring original copies of testimonials, bio-data and application while appearing for the interview. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates appearing for the interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/women/physically handicapped candidates will be as per Govt. of India norms.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) [Rs. 12,000/- PM + HRA]/Senior Research Fellow (SRF) [Rs. 14,000/- PM + HRA] - 01
Age Limit: JRF - 28 Years SRF - 32 Years
Essential Qualifications: JRF: First class Master degree in Plant Physiology/Botany / Environmental Science/Forestry
SRF : As above + 2 year’s research experience
Desirable: Experience of handing Porometer/Photosynthesis System/Water Potential System, etc.
Nature of duties/Project: In-House project “Developing sacred landscape model for ecorestoration and biodiversity conservation in the central Himalayan region”
