This is in continuation of advertisement No. 67-83/MCS/Bot dated September 21, 

2010. This is for your information that the last date of the said advertisement is 

extended up to 25th October, 2010.

Applications are invited for one post of Project Fellow at a monthly fellowship 

of Rs.8000/- (fixed) in University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi 

sponsored Research Project entitled “Assessment of Biodiversity and Cytomorphology 

of Medicinal Plants in Doaba Region of Punjab”. The project is 

tenable upto 30.4.2012.

The application on plain paper giving detailed bio-data along with attested copies 

of the testimonials should reach the undersigned by 25th October, 2010. No T.A. 

& D.A. are permissible for attending the interview. The rules and regulations as 

laid down by Panjab University and/or UGC, New Delhi will govern the terms and 

conditions of fellowship of the selected candidate. The candidate age should not 

be more than 40 years.

Qualifications:

The candidates should be M.Sc. in Botany with at least 55% marks.
