Research Associate
Job Profile
  • To carry out research as a Junior Research Fellow in the area of biological butanol production with anaerobic microbes in a Department of Biotechnology sponsored project.
Qualifications
  • First class M Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology or related subject areas. CSIR/UGC/NET qualification would be preferred.
Skills
  • Relevant experience in anaerobic microbiology. 
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in molecular tools will be added advantage

Research Associate
Job Profile
  • To work as a Research Associate in a ministry sponsored project for production of butanol/hydrogen/biofuels by anaerobic microorganisms. Meeting project objectives and deadlines including data compilation and preperation of project reports.

Qualifications
  • First class M.Sc/ Ph D in Microbiology/Biotechnology and related subject.
 
Skills
  • Experience in handling anaerobic bacteria is must. Good communication skills authenticated by publications in peer reviewd journals. Proactive and enthusiastic approach. Willingness to take responsibility to ensure completion of tasks in time.
