A walk-in-interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (1 post) in DST sponsored project on "High temperature stress response and associated changes in growth and yield of rice (Oryza sativa L.)" will be held on 5-10-2010 at 10:00 AM in Room No. 106, NRL Building, Division of Agricultural Physics, IARI, New Delhi-110012.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biophysics / Environmental Science / Plant Biochemistry / Plant Physiology preferably with research experience in rice Biotechnology, climate change, physiology and enzyme analysis.
Desirable Qualifications: Strong demonstrated background in biochemical techniques, gel electrophoresis, rice physiology and biochemistry, excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of computer and bioinformatics tools.
Remunerations: Rs. 16,000/- (consolidated) per month + HRA as applicable.
