Protein Scientist / Senior Scientist
Description
Scientist - Protein Science. This position is in the Discovery and Datamining platform at MRC, Bangalore. The team focuses on looking into diverse enabling data ( in-house and public ), analyze and make gene nominations to the pipeline and create technical reports to advance genes in the pipeline. Hiring of a person with protein science skills ( with ability to recognize and interpret protein diversity) will enhance the capability of the team. This person would be able to suggest/recommend improved proteins to trait platform needs or help in coming up with insights towards designing proteins with novel mode of action . This also complements the data mining and analysis skills that we already have and opens up opportunity to look into additional enabling data for making decision worthy recommendations towards genes for the pipeline and their advancement.
Qualifications
Ph. D ( Protein Science/ Biochemistry / Molecular Biology / Plant Molecular Biology )
