University of Madras JRF Positions in Life Sciences




Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following temporary positions to work in a Govt. of India ICMR sponsored major research project “Molecular mechanism underlying gestational and Lactational chromium exposure-induced disruption of the Hypothalamohypophyseal-gonadal axis and fertility”

Fellowship (Rs. Per month): 16,000/- + HRA
Qualifications: 
i) Post graduate degree in Life Sciences (Animal Sciences /Zoology, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Human genetics, Physiology, Anatomy) with minimum of 55% marks.
ii) Pass in CSIR/UGC or ICMR/PGI National eligibility Test (NET) with valid certificate
iii) Experience in mammalian cell culture, eukaryotic gene expression studies, western blot, Immunohistochemistry, Confocal microscope and Flow cytometery is desired.

Application should be accompanied with supporting documents for qualification and experience and testimonials / reference letter from two persons (one should be from the head of the department / institution where the candidate studied last).
