Walk-in-interview will be held in the Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi-110012 for the position of one Senior Research Fellow on contractual basis under ICAR network project, “Out reach programme on Diagnosis and Management of Leaf spot diseases of field and horticultural crops”. Eligible candidates should bring their application giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and passport size photograph.

Emoluments: Rs.12,000/- + 30% H.R.A.

Essential qualification: 1) M Sc. Plant Pathology / M.Sc. Biotechnology / M. Sc.

                                                Life Sciences

        2) Good academic record and hands on experience of

  working with fungal cultures, Molecular techniques and

 computers.

Age limit as on 30.09.10: 35 years

Terms and Conditions:

1.    The above post is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project. The appointment will be initially for one year and may be extended further upon satisfactory performance.

2.    Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per government rules.

3.    All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before schedule time (10 AM) on the date (20. 09.2010) of interview for necessary formalities.

4.    No objection certificate from the employer/ university, in case he/ she has an employment.
