Applications on plain paper with proof of relevant documents are invited for one RA/SRF/JRF following project within one month from the date of publication of the advertisement in
1) CSIR Major Research Project entitled “Ethnobotanical Survey and Documentation of Traditional knowledge of selected Ethnic Tribal groups of Mizoram”.
Duration: 3 years
Candidate selected directly by CSIR will be given preference.
Eligibility for RA: Candidates having Ph.D degree in Botany/LifeScience/Forestry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology or equivalent. Evidence of research experience in relevant area with essential published work. Age: Below 35 years .
Eligibility for SRF: Candidates having First class M.Sc in Botany/Life Sciece/Forestry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology or equivalent and two years of Post M.Sc Research Experience is essential in relevant area with proof.
Age:Below 32 years.
JRF: M.Sc in relevant area and age below 32 years.
CSIR – NET candidates will be given preference.
Stipend will be as per CSIR rules and Appointment is purely temporary and Co–Terminus with the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

2) Directorate of Science and Technology, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Mumbai funded Project entitled “Study on Polliniferous Plants associated with Apiculture in Mizoram “.
Duration 2 years.
Research Fellow : One. Emolument: Rs 7500/- pm.
Eligibility: Candidates having M.Sc degree in Botany/Forestry/Life Science/Environmental Science/Ecology in relevant area can apply.
General – Appointment is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.
Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview should bring all the original certificates. Testimonials for verification along with CV and copies of certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
