JRF in Chemical Biology of siRNA at ILS, Hyderabad

DBT Sponsored Junior Research Fellow in Chemical Biology of siRNA:

Applications are invited for the following Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position in DBT funded research project on “Dual Conjugation of Cationic Lipid and Cell Penetrating
Peptide to dsRNA Oligonucleotides for in Vivo siRNA Delivery”

Suitable candidates will be called for interview to appear before the selection committee intimating the date at the Institute of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Junior Research Fellowship: Rs. 15,600/- (Fixed) per month inclusive of all for the first two years and Rs. 18,200/- (Fixed) per month inclusive of all for the third year.

Duration: Three years

Responsibilities: Chemical and biological synthesis of modified siRNA and general maintenance of RNA synthesizer.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemical sciences /Life sciences from a recognized university / institute. Should be willing to learn and able to work at the chemistry/biology interface.

Candidates with synthetic chemistry background having aptitude to learn siRNA biology or Candidates with biochemistry back ground with exposure to synthetic chemistry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferable: Relevant research experience in the above mentioned areas

Experience: 0-2 years
