BHU Two JRF Posts for Microbiology/Medical microbiology /Biochemistry/Biotechnology

Applications are invited for two posts of JRF @ Rs 12,000/- p.m. +15% HRA, and one post of Lab attendant @ Rs 4000/- p.m.to work on DBT sponsored project entitled “Molecular analysis of AmpC Beta Lactamases, their association with integrons and the role of gene cassettes in transfer of Multiple Drug Resistant Determinants in Gram Negative Clinical Isolates” sanctioned for a period of three years. The posts are purely temporary and   co-terminous with the project.

For JRF the candidate should be M.Sc in Microbiology/Medical microbiology /Biochemistry/Biotechnology from a recognized university with 55% marks and preferably NET LS/GATE qualified. The upper age limit for joining is 28 years with 5 years relaxation for females and SC/ST candidates. Candidates with experience in the area of project or related field will be preferred. All qualifications being equal, SC/ST candidates will be given preference as per the GOI rules.

For Lab attendant candidate should be graduate/Intermediate (Science). Upper age limit is 30 yrs (Relaxable upto 5 years for female/SC & ST candidates). Upper age limit can be relaxed for candidates with relevant experience. All things being equal, Female, SC/ST candidates shall be preferred as per GOI rules.
