Applications are invited from eligible candidate for the post of one Research Fellow in the project entitled “Screening of anti-stress and aging defense ingredients of tea by cell biology assays” funded by NTRF, Kolkata, under the supervision Prof. R. N. Chatterjee, Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta. The project would be terminated on 15. 9. 2011.

Esstential qualification – M.Sc. in Zoology / Genetics/ Biotechnology.  Age limit- 28 years. Candidate having good knowledge in Drosophila is preferred. Candidates who have already served three years as JRF/ Project Fellow etc. either in the University or in any other Institution are not eligible to apply.

Emoluments : Rs. 8000/- per month + 15% HRA (=Rs. 9,200/-)

Interested and eligible candidates may appear walk-in interview in Head of the Department of Zoology’s room, on 17th Sept. 2010, at 1 P. M for the research fellowship. UGC qualification, NET /SLET/ GATE preferred.
