WALK – IN – INTERVIEW
Walk-in-interview for the selection of SRFs/RAs/Ph.D. Scholars as detailed below is scheduled to be held on 24.09.2010 (Friday) at 10.00 am at the above address.
1. Name of the Project: Farming Crop Specific DUS Guidelines for Banana (Musa spp.) funded by PPV&FRA, Ministry of Agri., Govt. of India.
Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow – 2 Nos., Data Manager
Duration: Up to 31.05.013
Essential / Desirable Qualification: For SRF- M.Sc. in Horticulture / Botany / Biotechnology Bachelor’s degree with working knowledge in computer / MS Office.
For Data Manager: -ditto-
Salary (in Rupees): Rs.12000/- plus HRA @ 20% for I & II Year. Rs.14000/- plus HRA @ 20% for III Year. As per CentralnGovt. Daily Wages rates.
2. Name of the Project: Intellectual Property Management and Transfer / Commercialization of Agricultural Technology funded by ICAR, New Delhi.
Name of the Post: Research Associate – 1 No.
Duration: Up to 31.03.2012
Essential / Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture / Biotechnology/ Life Sciences / Bioinformatics/ with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
Desirable : Degree or diploma in IPR Management / Patent search / Plant variety protection etc.
Salary (in Rupees): Rs.17000/- plus HRA @ 20% for M.Sc. holders. Rs.18000/- plus HRA @ 20% for Ph.D. holders.
3. Name of the Project: Regeneration and safety duplication of priority Musa collections funded by Bioversity, France & FAO, Rome.
Name of the Post: Ph.D. Scholar – 1 No.
Duration: Up to 31.03.2012
Essential / Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture / Biotechnology / Botany
Salary (in Rupees): Rs.7000/- (fixed)
Experience : Preferably in Banana Cultivation.
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years for men and 35 years for women as on the date of Walk-in-interview. Relaxable up to 5 years for persons already working as RAs/SRFs in other ICAR institutes / organizations.
Interested candidates are requested to attend the Walk-in-interview with their bio-data neatly typed in computer (in MS WORD – TIMES NEW ROMAN font – size 12), copies of certificates, experience certificates, publications and two passport size photos. Original certificates should be produced for verification at the time of walk-in-interview.
General instructions for candidates:
1. Separate applications for the each of the above post may neatly be typed in MSWORD – TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT – 12 SIZE in the prescribed format given below containing particulars / information duly supported by attested copies of educational / technical experience certificate etc. The applications complete in all respects, should be submitted at the time of walk in interview on 24.09.2010 (Friday), 10.00 AM at the Centre.
2. Persons already employed should route their application through proper channel.
3. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates called for interview.
4. The appointment as Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow / Ph.D Scholar / Data Manager under aided projects is temporary in nature and co-teminus with the project.
5. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection / test / interview / appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
6. The Director, NRCB reserves the right to short list the candidates for test / interview, depending on the number of applications received.
7. The Director, NRCB reserves the right to fill up the post without assigning any reason thereof.
